In the 9th Healthy City and Age-friendly City Competition, Kaohsiung City Won 15 Innovative Achievement Prizes, which is ranked 2nd in Taiwan.

Kaohsiung City, which had always been dedicated to a health and age-friendly city, participated the "9th Healthy City and Age-friendly City Competition" this year. Under the lead of Kaohsiung City's Mayor Chen Chu, departments of Kaohsiung City were united as a whole and won 15 Healthy City and Age-friendly City Innovative Achievement Prizes, which is ranked 2nd in Taiwan.
The 15 Innovative Achievement Prizes won by Kaohsiung City Government include "Healthy Policy Prize" and "Healthy Equality Prize" won by Department of Health, "Healthy Environment Prize", "Healthy Sustainability Prize", "Healthy Feature Prize" and "Smart City Prize" won by Public Works Bureau, "Healthy Policy Prize" and Age-friendly City "Community and Healthy Services Prize" won by Social Affairs Bureau, "Healthy Environment Prize" and "Healthy Psychology Prize" won by Education Bureau, "Healthy Security Prize" won by Water Resources Bureau, "Healthy Industry Prize" won by Urban Development Bureau and Marine Bureau, "Healthy Feature Prize" won by Agriculture Bureau, and "Smart City Prize" won by Transportation Bureau. The great efforts made by every department and bureau lead to these prizes which fully represents Kaohsiung City's achievement of Healthy and Age-friendly City promotion.
In the future, Kaohsiung City will keep working on Healthy and Age-friendly City promotion, and become a city where everyone can easily and happily lives in.
