Kaohsiung city was awarded for the 10th health and senior citizen friendly city

Kaohsiung city was awarded for the 10th health and senior citizen friendly city recently. To offer citizens a better healthy livable place has been a goal for Kaohsiung city government. This year, in the 10th health and senior citizen friendly competition held by health promotion administration, ministry of health and welfare, Kaohsiung city had won 7 prizes. The mayor, Li-min Hsu, expressed that he will share the glory with all the citizens.
This time, the program “Caring the immigrant pregnant women” held by department of health had won the prize of health equality. The program “Freeride of mass transportation in winter” to decrease air pollution held by department of environment protection had won the prize of health policy. The program “Community development by college students” held by department of urban development had won the prize of health environment. The program ”Ecological transportation festivals in 2017” held by department of transportation had won the prize of health sustainability. The program “The cultural and creative dreams in the Pier-2 art center” held by the department of culture had won the prize of health industry. The program “Community affairs on the internet” held by department of civil affairs had won the prize of smart city. The program “Our Kaohsiung house of happiness” held by department of public works had won the prize of health feature. The Kaohsiung city government committed to provide a better healthy livable city for all the citizens consistently.
